Vanta Device Screen Lock Configuration Guide
The following resources will help you properly set up screen lock on your devices to ensure they are detected as compliant by Vanta's device monitoring system. Proper screen lock configuration is an important security control required by many compliance frameworks including SOC2 and ISO 27001:2022.
Important: After making changes, it can take up to 24 hours for Vanta to detect and update the compliance status of your devices in the Vanta dashboard.
Windows Devices
Configure screen lock settings in Windows to meet Vanta requirements:

- Ensure you configure settings in Control Panel, not Device Settings
- If the screensaver is set to "none" or "blank", switch it to another option.

macOS Devices
